Chief complaint:
Female patient unhappy about her two upper front teeth. The upper right lateral incisor is rotated and the upper right central incisor has an old crown that is discoloured and failing. Patient has lost confidence in her smile. She would cover her mouth with her hand every time she smiles or laughs.
Treatment provided:
The rotated upper right lateral incisor was corrected and straightened with a porcelain veneer. The crown on the upper central incisor was replaced with a new porcelain crown.
Duration/Time/Result:
Just by treating the two upper front teeth, the patient is now able to smile with confidence. The teeth now have a more natural appearance and are better aligned. Two visits were required to achieve these results.
Chief complaint:
Patient has fractured her upper front tooth (bit into almonds), and feels embarrassed to smile.
Treatment provided:
The tooth was restored with a porcelain crown after placement of a post.
Duration/Time/Result:
The patient was very happy with the final result. Her husband and friends couldn’t even tell the difference between the real teeth and the crown. Three appointments were required for this case.

The patient has a few concerns. She has a missing front tooth, and is also not happy with the colour of her teeth. The patient has lost confidence in smiling and interacting with people around her.
Treatment provided:
After discussing the options, the patient has elected to proceed with porcelain crowns and bridge. The missing upper front tooth was replaced with a porcelain bridge, and the remaining upper front teeth were restored with porcelain crowns.
Duration/Time/Result:
In the final appointment the patient was so happy that she became emotional. Not only is the missing front tooth replaced, all her upper front teeth are now whiter and more natural looking. The patient cannot stop smiling. Total number of appointments required for this case is 3.
